Is there such a thing as healthier “fried food”?

    • Dr. Lundberg

Denise, deep-fried foods are very unhealthy because they are saturated in fat. However, lightly sautéed or fried with a spray olive oil is probably best. When possible, avoid frying foods and opt to grill or bake instead. Emory Healthcare’s Pinterest page has a lot of heart-healthy recipes available, so that would be a great place to start!
